Instructions for my new card game The Eliminator are now available here as well as on a new website for The Eliminator. Be sure to check out theeliminator.jonathanhanzel.com for any variations of The Eliminator. For now, here's how the game works:
Setup
- Start with at least 2 standard decks of 52 (jokers removed), and shuffle the decks into two piles, forming Pile A and Pile B (Pile B must be one deck of cards)
- Select a person to be The Manager. The Manager will be the only person allowed to use cards from Pile B
- The Manager will pass one car from Pile A to every player. They may look at the card given to them as long as no one else sees it
Gameplay
The Manager will take a card from Pile B. If the card from Pile B matches the card of one or more players, the player(s) with matching cards will be eliminated. The Manager will continue to take cards from Pile B until either one player remains with a card in their hand, or one card remains in Pile B.
