Attempting to repair an old Dell computer

It's been a while since I got my hands on a really old computer, but it happened again recently. I managed to get a Dell Dimension 4600i with a 40GB PATA hard drive, a Pentium 4 (2.8GHz), and 256MB of RAM. This is a literal 2005 beast.

There was one problem, though - the 40GB HDD was dead.

So I got an 80GB PATA HDD to replace the 40GB drive and then installed Windows XP Home on it. It's nice to be trying to use an OS that I never got to experience back in the day. As if you've known me for long enough, you would know that I never got to use Windows XP back in the day. In fact, I didn't get to use it until around this time last year.

I decided that, since this was a Windows XP time period computer, I was going to keep Windows XP on it.
