Today marks the introduction to my 5 year in the making game, Hardcore Flip. This is a game designed around teamwork and luck. The initial concept was for multiple teams to be playing it at once.
The rules are this:
The grid size is determined by the number of players in the game (e.g. a 5-player game uses a 5x5 grid, a 4-player game uses a 4x4 grid, etc.
Using at least one standard deck of 52, deal out enough cards to make the appropriate size grid. The goal of the game is to make sure all the cards have at least one thing in common.
Every player will flip up one card each. If they all have one thing in common, your team gets a point. If they do not, your team's game ends.
There are also pattern matches (e.g. all cards are in a straight line) that can be determined by the person who determined that the game would be played.
Every thing in common can only be used once, and every pattern can only be used once.
Whenever you get a point, you remove the face-up cards and deal new face-down cards. The process repeats until there are no more cards in the deck or if there are no more cards.
