Is this corporate greed taken to another level or what?

On May 15, 2024, a video game company named U.X.E. released a video game called One Country. I pre-ordered it in March 2024 and played it almost every day since, even buying so many copies of the game to give to my friends. It was easily one of my most played games that I was hoping to get as many people into, and possibly the game I've spent the most money on (I can easily say I've spent over $1k on this game).

But then, they came back to hit me in April 2025 when they announced this:

When AI is used for kidnapping minors

This is something that I didn't think I was going to hear about but guess what, it happened.

On the week of May 16, a friend of mine named Jacob (who is 14) was contacted by an AI impersonation of a friend of his, who used Caller ID Spoofing to spoof the phone number of the friend they were impersonating. While I've seen this part before, I've never seen this turn into a kidnapping.

But guess what happened?

That's right, the AI impersonation lured Jacob into being kidnapped by a complete stranger who he knew nothing about.

Consider this a warning that this can happen to anyone. If you don't believe me, I've been contacted by these AI impersonators before, and I've been able to catch them in the act. Luckily I haven't been kidnapped by one, but my best advice would be to use a code phrase when you answer a call, something that would confuse an AI.

Or you can try prompt injecting. But that doesn't guarantee that it will work.

Exiting card game creation and closing Perfectionist Games

After careful consideration, I have decided to abandon card game creation and close Perfectionist Games so I can pursue a new career. Existing card games I have made will remain available on my website.

But what about Perfectionist Games?

Perfectionist Games will be closing on March 10th, Champion's Cards, which was released on Perfectionist Games, will be moving to my website before March 10th, so that the game is not lost to time.

Why am I doing this? I thought that I was going to be able to come up with more card games than I actually did. Then, on December 6th, Devin, who influenced me to create card games by releasing a card game called Chainsaw, was killed in a car crash. The loss of Devin was so traumatizing to me that it felt like I had lost a close friend, even though I had never met Devin.

With that said, I've decided to consolidate the resources I have while still providing the card games I have been. While no new card games are coming, the ones I have already made, Hardcore Flip, The Eliminator, Telegram, and Champion's Cards, will all remain available and will all continue to be on my website for the foreseeable future.

March 8, 1942 to October 21, 2024

Today marks the loss of an important member of my family. My grandfather, who was 82 years old, was hospitalized on October 14th, and after a week of attempted recovery, did not make it out alive.

I currently do not have anything else to publish online about this, but as new information is gathered, I will provide it here.

Collab streams coming soon

As previously mentioned in the October 6th livestream, I am going to be opening up the doors for collab streams. Planning will begin in December. At the moment, I don't have a publicly available list of people I will collab with, but it is something I am working on.

Computer manufacturer Lenovo refuses to fix laptop hinge

On May 15th, a friend of mine purchased a laptop from Lenovo. When they got it, they felt that it was perfect, until August 22nd, when the laptop hinge broke on them. When they sent it to Lenovo for repair, Lenovo responded with this:

...the nature of the damage is not covered under warranty as it is normal wear and tear. You will need to purchase a replacement Lenovo [laptop] at an authorized Lenovo reseller or on lenovo.com

This made my friend very angry. He had purchased this laptop three months ago and still needs it.

In response, I have decided that I will not be purchasing any more Lenovo computers in the future. Sound familiar to another brand? Maybe I'm imagining things?

Purging old YouTube videos

Some of you may have noticed that asterisks have appeared on many of my older videos on my main YouTube channel. Due to my career change announced back in May, and the nature of some of these videos, I am clearing out my old video library to make room for my new Forza streams and upcoming card games.

Starting August 22nd, videos with single asterisks will be unlisted and will only be available via existing links. Also, videos with double asterisks will be privated and will no longer be watchable on YouTube.

All of my videos prior to May 2020 will be privated, and some videos after will be privated as well. After this change, the oldest remaining public video will be my how to play Lowdown video. Several videos after will be made unlisted, (including some high view count ones, such as the Lubuntu video,) while others will be privated (such as my two most popular videos). My most popular video unaffected by this change is the Windows XP for the first time video from December 2022.

No videos on the lost channel are affected by this change.

I realize that this news may be upsetting for many of you, but this decision was made to allow me to leave my past behind me and move forwards.
