March 8, 1942 to October 21, 2024

Today marks the loss of an important member of my family. My grandfather, who was 82 years old, was hospitalized on October 14th, and after a week of attempted recovery, did not make it out alive.

I currently do not have anything else to publish online about this, but as new information is gathered, I will provide it here.

Collab streams coming soon

As previously mentioned in the October 6th livestream, I am going to be opening up the doors for collab streams. Planning will begin in December. At the moment, I don't have a publicly available list of people I will collab with, but it is something I am working on.

Computer manufacturer Lenovo refuses to fix laptop hinge

On May 15th, a friend of mine purchased a laptop from Lenovo. When they got it, they felt that it was perfect, until August 22nd, when the laptop hinge broke on them. When they sent it to Lenovo for repair, Lenovo responded with this:

...the nature of the damage is not covered under warranty as it is normal wear and tear. You will need to purchase a replacement Lenovo [laptop] at an authorized Lenovo reseller or on lenovo.com

This made my friend very angry. He had purchased this laptop three months ago and still needs it.

In response, I have decided that I will not be purchasing any more Lenovo computers in the future. Sound familiar to another brand? Maybe I'm imagining things?

Purging old YouTube videos

Some of you may have noticed that asterisks have appeared on many of my older videos on my main YouTube channel. Due to my career change announced back in May, and the nature of some of these videos, I am clearing out my old video library to make room for my new Forza streams and upcoming card games.

Starting August 22nd, videos with single asterisks will be unlisted and will only be available via existing links. Also, videos with double asterisks will be privated and will no longer be watchable on YouTube.

All of my videos prior to May 2020 will be privated, and some videos after will be privated as well. After this change, the oldest remaining public video will be my how to play Lowdown video. Several videos after will be made unlisted, (including some high view count ones, such as the Lubuntu video,) while others will be privated (such as my two most popular videos). My most popular video unaffected by this change is the Windows XP for the first time video from December 2022.

No videos on the lost channel are affected by this change.

I realize that this news may be upsetting for many of you, but this decision was made to allow me to leave my past behind me and move forwards.

Surprise, more card games are on the way!

I have some surprises I want to reveal.

First, on July 26th, I will release a new card game called Telegram, which will involve remembering cards and saying what they are. The instructions will be released here and on YouTube on July 26th.

Second, I have been planning a separate card game release planned to be released as celebrations for getting GTBock's YouTube channel to 750 subscribers. If you haven't already, be sure to subscribe to his channel, especially if you want to see more card games from me.

In the meantime, let's enjoy some crab rave.

EDIT June 21st: Due to unexpected circumstances, the release date for Telegram was changed from July 11th to July 26th.

Why my website was suspended

Many of you may have noticed that my website went down again, this time it was actually my fault. Let me explain.

As an April Fools prank, I made this post, which triggered an investigation into my website, despite the fact that the date on the post was April 1st. On May 22nd, I was notified that the post was identified as fraud due to the subdomain directing people to something that I didn't make and had no connection with. I had kept it up in case people still wanted to see it, but following the suspension of my website. I had agreed to take down the subdomain to reinstate the website, but it took a long time to get a response and I was eventually given a yes, but it took a little while and eventually it made it's way back up before the end of the day.
